With SpliSeal deluxe splice sealing kit, wire alterations are now made simple. Of all the skills required when building a classic truck, wiring has always been one of my stronger points. That said, my results are normally problem free, but in all truthfulness not always 100 percent successful. A couple of the most common gremlins which effect rewire jobs are improper or insufficient grounding-the other is corrosion. Between the two, grounding problems are normally immediately felt-while corroded connections usually sneak up on you over time. It's the lag time between the initial rewire and the corrosion-caused failure that makes tracking the trouble such a headache. Mainly because corrosion-caused malfunctions are often intermittent rather than constant, and require a full and detailed inspection of every aspect of the system-an aggravating and time-consuming chore to say the least.
