I am going to upgrade my 56 chev manual steering but i am not sure which way to go. Rack and Pinion or the CPP kit, what do you think is the best way to go? The car is a 210 station wagon and my wifes baby, she has no problem with the manual steering but i cant stand it. I have a 1941 plymouth coup with cavalier rack and pinion and i love it, any help or ideas would be greatly appriciated. Does anyone know of a maybe littlier harder way like retrofitting a 1997 or newer Chevy R&P, I have the welders and cutting torches to do it if someone has any exp with trying it.
