• Race Ramps’ Trak Jax Helps Get Floor Jacks Under Low Vehicles

Brute Industries, the manufacturers of Race Ramps, has introduced Trak-Jak, a new product that helps to provide extra clearance to fit floor jacks and the arms of two-post lifts underneath low ground clearance vehicles. The product was designed for autocross racers that didn’t want to buy a new low-profile jack just to change tires at the track, according to the company.

Trak Jax has the ability to support a 6,000-pound vehicle and features a textured coating to prevent it from sliding across the floor (the coating will also work on epoxy-coated floors). It won’t scratch or damage a shop floor, said the company.

All ramp models can accommodate tires up to 10 inches wide. They weigh less than 5 pounds each and are only 30.1 inches long so they can fit inside a car’s trunk. Trak-Jax are available with or without a 1.5-inch stop and won’t rust.
