• DEI Releases New Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining

Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) has announced the release of its new Under Hood Thermal Lining. The product was, according to the company, primarily designed for engine compartments as a way to greatly reduce heat and noise with a peel-and-stick application as extreme engine heat and noise are often a problem in modified vehicles featuring high-performance components.

Made of -inch-thick industrial-acoustic-grade foam with a reinforced aluminum covering, Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining not only insulates the underside of hoods but also serves as a sound deadener and thermal control while protecting paint finishes, according to DEI. The product can also be for noise control on generator boxes and various industrial applications, such as HVAC.
