• SPAL ADDS CAMERAS, MONITORS TO VEHICLE SAFETY PRODUCT LINE

A leader in high performance cooling fans, electronics and vehicle safety solutions, is offering a new line of cameras and monitors for cars, trucks, SUVs, boats and campers. Featuring anodized metal housings, SPAL's 12V cameras are waterproof and can be mounted virtually anywhere in the vehicle, such as the license plate or bumper. The cameras feature low lux ratings to produce a quality image even in low-light settings. The cameras work together with SPAL's color LCD monitors, which are available in 2.5", 3.5" and 7" sizes. They can be mounted to the roof or dash of the vehicle, feature up to three video inputs and come equipped with a reverse-image feature. "Our rear-view cameras and monitors are interchangeable to offer drivers custom solutions for protecting their vehicle investment," said Thom Balistrieri, director of consumer sales, SPAL USA. "Designed with the end user in mind, one of our newest monitors features a user-friendly touch screen interface and a pre-set grid to aid in determining obstacle distances." SPAL also offers a new Wireless Video Signal Kit (RX-TX/W01) that allows end-users to convert cameras and monitors to wireless mode via 12V or RCA jacks. The wireless kit has a 30-foot range depending on the installation location. The wireless kit and SPAL cameras can plug directly into most OEM and aftermarket multimedia or video players using a standard RCA video plug or adapter. All SPAL cameras are compatible with Phase Alternating Line (PAL) and National Television System Committee (NTSC) systems, and they include up to 25 feet of cable and a drill bit for proper installation.
