Default 57 chevy trk bump steer problem

I have a 57 chevy pick-up, just instaled your power steering kit. everything went well but now i have a bump steer problem. Truck has been lower a couple inches by going with a single leaf spring in front and still has original straight axel. local guy suggested just putting Monroe Gas Magnum shocks on to stiffen up front end suspension. I need more suggestions . Need to get front end alignment anyway, anything special i should tell them ?

Heating and bending the steering arms to match the drop would help this.

Below is an article on this....
