    Default drop spindles vs. springs

I am about to restore my 56 Bel Air 2dr hardtop. Trying to avoid mistakes. I've read that you can drop the front end and retain full suspesion travel. But I am confused about which springs to use. Should I install dropped spindles along with stock height springs or does this require the 1-1/2" drop springs, or do the ddrop springs just drop it even further.

    Thanks.

    Good Morning,

The 2" drop spindles allow the full suspension travel still. Being that the spindle pin is moved up 2" compared to a stock type spindle and the suspension remains the same. You can also add the drop springs if you want to go with a 3.5" drop in the front end. This will work just fine either way.
