    Default Power steering ID

I recently bought a 65 chevy pickup already converted to power steering. After looking at the way they mounted it I decided to redo it with a kit. i bought a CPP kit #6366PSK-OC for the job.My question is , the rag joint is for a shaft 13/16" and my existing gear is a 3/4"? Is this a compatible gear? I have another rag joint I can use if all is well with the gear. Thanks for any input.

The Early (67-77) year boxes are 13/16x36 spline on the input shaft. the 79-up are 3/4x30. Both have the same mounting flanges and work the same. The Later box is an o-ring type fitting were the early box is a standard inverted flare.
