Default Emergency brake troubles. '70 Chevelle rear disc.

I decided to convert my 4-wheel manual drum brake car to 4-wheel power disc brakes. I ordered the "Front & Rear Disc Brake Package" for my '70 Chevelle, p.n. 6774FRBP-11. I upgraded to slotted and drilled rotors, stainless braided hoses, and the aluminum chrome master cylinder. After several weeks of frustration getting it installed, I thought I had it licked until I got to the emergency brake. The kit I ordered did not come with the emergency brake cables so I ordered the 6472EBC cables thinking this would solve my problem. When I went to install them, the cable housing is about 2 or 3 inches too long and the cable itself is too short which makes the intermediate cable too short to reach the front cable. Did I order the wrong parts? Do I need something else? Nowhere in any documentation either with the kit or on the CPP website can I find anything regarding this issue. I need help as I need to get the car to a show this weekend. I already missed one that I paid an entry fee to.
    Built not bought.
