They have been custom buffed and polished to achieve a smooth, defect-free plating surface. A chrome-anodized finish has been applied to achieve a high-quality, brighter-than-OE finish. These extra steps assure a brilliant finish. These grilles are stamped from new tooling which offers a crisp, precise, defined shape. The chrome aluminum grille shell (PN 49-8940) fits '78-79 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, and Bronco. The shell is also available in show-quality chrome-plated steel for an additional cost (PN 49-8941).
