Ford 9" rear disc brake pads over edge of disc

I have purchased the 9" ford 5x5.5 truck disc brake kit.
After mounting everything, the brake pads appear to overhang the rotors.
In other words, looks like there is a miss-alignment of the caliper, sitting too far away/back on the rotor.
See attached photos.

- the rotors measure 11.75" or 11 3/4"
- after mounting the calipers, the brake pads over hang the rotors by approximately 1/4"

Did I miss something, or order the wrong kit?

I have seen this on occasion due to differences in the housing flanges. Slight overhang will not cause any issue with braking. You could loosen up the bracket and push them down as possible to help bring them down. Otherwise this is ok
