Sunpro has released its new Complete Retro Tach Cup Kits for refurbished 1960s and 1970s Sun Super Tachs. The kits feature a 3-3/8-inch metal chrome cup, two mounting brackets (column and dash mount), attachment hardware, column clamp and protective strip.
In addition to the original Sun Tachs, the kits can be used with the company’s Sun Super 3-3/8-inch Retro Tachometers and Sunpro Sun 3-3/8-inch Retro Tachometers. The Sunpro Sun Super Tach is designed with a 250-degree dial sweep and 360-degree through-the-dial lighting that allows for better visibility at night, said the company. It also features the company’s blue line styling and adjustable red shift pointer.
Both Retro Tachs have vibration-proof air-core meter construction to ensure accuracy and reliability with fast needle response covering the 0-8,000 rpm range. Internal settings can be adjusted for one-, two-, four- six-, eight- and 10-cylinder engines.

The Eastwood Co.has released its new series of Battery Sustainers, which are designed to maintain the charge of any 12-volt battery without the risk of overcharging or causing permanent damage.
The Eastwood Battery Sustainer offers 2.0 amps output, while the Eastwood Battery Sustainer Plus offers 2–10 amps and has a built-in 10-amp charger. Both units also feature an LED display that shows the charging cycle and battery status. The microprocessor-controlled technology cuts off when the battery is fully charged. The product has both short circuit and reverse-polarity protection.
Both units offer enough power to bring a dead battery back to charge and then sustain that charge during storage, according to the company.
Both models include three connectors to use with automotive or motorcycle batteries. A set of alligator clips, a set of connectors to hard-wire a vehicle and 12-volt vehicle accessory port are also included.

Meguiar’s has released its new All Metal Wheel Polish, which is designed to transform the appearance of dingy, oxidized wheels. The cleaning formula will remove oxidation without scratching the wheel and can be applied by hand or with Meguiar’s DynaCone polishing tool, according to the company.
The All Metal Wheel Polish can be used on all uncoated, polished or chrome wheels, and is safe to use on cast aluminum, magnesium or billet alloy.
The polish shouldn’t be used on painted, clear-coated or chrome-plated plastic wheels. It comes in an upright 8-ounce container.

Wizards Products has launched a new line of foam buffing pads. The convoluted design of the Bendi-Buff Foam Buffing Pads gives the user greater control, eliminates pad chatter, reduces product splatter and waste, and decreases surface heat, according to the company.
The pads offer a Velcro grip back with an alignment ring, helping make pad changes in seconds with the Wizards 6-inch Bendi-Backer Backing Plate. Bendi-Buff Foam Buffing Pads are available in 7.5-inch versions for cutting, light cutting/polishing, finishing and ultra-finishing.

Made of ľ-inch-thick industrial-acoustic-grade foam with a reinforced aluminum covering, Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining not only insulates the underside of hoods but also serves as a sound deadener and thermal control while protecting paint finishes, according to DEI.
