Jim Meyer Racing Products has released a new bolt-in IFS for 1964 ˝–1970 Mustangs. With reprogrammed suspension geometry, reduced anti-drive and adjustable stance, the new rear-steer A-arm IFS offers tight rack-and-pinion steering, 11-inch vented disc brakes with disc brake options, aluminum adjustable coil-over shocks and a 1-inch anti-sway bar. It also includes tubular A-arms (not Mustang II), and removable steering arms.

The new IFS features a tighter-than-stock turning radius, and the caster and camber weight is loaded onto the frame instead of the inner fender panel, which means there’s no need for tower supports, said the company. The rear steering bracket sits above the front-sump oil pans and will clear Patriot headers. The upper A-arms include left- and right-hand threaded adjusters for easier alignment.

The new Select Series damper from RideTech is a steel-bodied, monotube damper that offers two sets of independent internal valve stacks, which allows the user to choose between a soft “cruise” mode and a firmer “sport” mode for handling performance.
In default mode (no power applied) the lower valving stack is engaged and will provide a compliant ride, ideal for cruising.

When power is applied through a dash-mounted push button, the upper valve stack is engaged to firm up the damping and provide extra handling performance.
The Select Series damper is available in coil-over, ShockWave (airspring), or as a stand-alone configuration with no surrounding spring. The damper offers superior oil control over a wide range of road and track surfaces, said the company.

Fesler Built has announced the release of its new 1967-1969 Camaro Door Panels. The panels are molded from rigid fiberglass and coverable in a variety of materials. They are specifically designed for the builder that is re-doing the entire look of a Camaro or Firebird, said the company.
While the panels are designed specifically for 1969 model Camaros, they will also fit 1967 and 1968 models with 1969 backseats or custom backseats, as well as 1967-1969 Firebirds with minor modifications.

The panels have the ability to be foamed over and covered to whatever design the builder wants without having to spend additional time and money on fabricating door panels from scratch, according to the company.
Each set is comprised of four panels (two fronts and two rears) and comes complete with customizable interior panels. Front door panel pairs that will fit 1967-1969 hard-top and convertible Camaros can be purchased separately.
Door pulls, armrests and interior door handles to go with these door panels are also available in a variety of finishes from Fesler Built.

The year 1978 was a great era for Oldsmobile

    1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme advertising

Throughout history, the Oldsmobile story has inspired many automotive historians with its rich and celebrated heritage which started right in Michigan’s capital city of Lansing.

I remember a particularly exciting year in 1978 when Oldsmobile introduced their new line of vehicles and automotive catalogues to the buying public. My first impression was that Oldsmobile was using 1978 to create a family-oriented lineup of new cars. The company used its advertising and marketing to highlight many traditional family values
