65 chevy power steering upgrade help?!

Hello All,

I am new to the site and wanted to get some insite into the CPP upgrade I am doin on my 65 chevy c-10 shortbed. I installed a 67 power steering gear box, pump, etc. I had to modify my original steering shaft to accept the CPP part # CSS-LG to connect to the new rag joint. However the intermediate shaft is spinning inside the flange that bolts to the ragjoint . Anyone know the correct way to fix this?? should I weld it or drill and put a pin through it??

Any pointers would be appreciated.

The coupler can be either welded of pinned. No problem! Either way as long as its secure your good to go!
