Earlier this week, NASCAR issued substantial penalties to the three teams involved in what series officials deemed to be a form of race manipulation -- the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, the No. 1 Trackhouse Racing*Chevrolet of Ross Chastain, and the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota of Bubba Wallace.
