    Default adjust emergency brake?

hi guys I'm new to this forum I recently bought a project truck that came with a 4 wheel disc brake kit from cpp I got it all hooked up and sure enough cant get a hard pedal after bleeding 5 liter of fluid through it I decided something else is wrong so I did some research and found out that the built in emergency brake needs to be adjusted, so to verify this was the problem I pinched off the rear brake hose leading to the rear axle T split and sure enough now I have a good strong pedal, the instructions on how to adjust it arn't real clear to me they say theres an adjusting screw but mine just has a spring, a bolt with a channel that the lever goes in, and of course the lever and the lever dosen't come out, just slides in and out, does anyone have any ideas? this is really holding me up I'm trying to get this truck ready for power tour in charlotte

Here is a link to the brake bleeding guide on the CPP website:

There is a section for just the rear caliper adjustment.
